Fabio Pietrantonio
1966 -
Fabio Pietrantonio was born in Turin (Italy) in 1966. Previously the assistant of sculptor Gaspare da Brescia, he took part in the creation of works on religious subjects commissioned by the Vatican Museum. Travels and encounters with indigenous populations, such as Australian Aboriginals and Native Americans, strongly conditioned his research. Active with exhibitions, performances and installations all over the world, Fabio Pietrantonio’s work is part of many prominent private collections and has been exhibited in leading institutions in the art scene, such as Gallerie d'Italia of Banca Intesa in Italy, where he recently presented the “Hug me” project, on view at the Naples gallery from May to July 2023, before travelling to Turin and Milan. His work has also been recently exhibited at the Context Art Fair in Miami and in a group show in Tokyo.
