Our Mission

London Trade Art is a female-led company, which aims to democratise the art market by allowing everyone to co-own some of the world’s masterpieces. We have introduced an innovative way to purchase artworks through the model of fractional ownership based on Art Shares, which gives collectors, private individuals and companies the possibility of becoming art co-owners by buying one or more shares of an entire piece of art. Our main mission is to expand the art audience, progressively educating art lovers, corporates and financial professionals on innovative models to collect and appreciate art.

LTArt was founded

LTArt was founded as an online art gallery and fine art advisory in London, UK.
2019
Tailored art services for corporates

Tailored art services for corporates, such as the art programme developed for international law firm Withersworldwide, which also acts as our legal partner and has developed the legal framework for our fractional model.
2020
Launched our first pilot fractional ownership project

Launched our first pilot fractional ownership project by Italian contemporary artist Lapo Simeoni.

Introduced digital artworks

Introduced digital artworks by UK-based artist Frank Sweet. One of his animated artworks sold in less than 24 hours.

Launched our first Blue-Chip artwork

Launched our first Blue-Chip artwork by Alighiero Boetti, 90% of which was sold in just a few weeks.

PhD in business investments in the arts, art advisor and curator, with 10+ years of experience. Lecturer and Researcher in art management and economy of the arts.

Aurelia Clavien

Chief Marketing Officer

Specialist in modern and contemporary art with a Master's degree in Art History and Media & Communications. She has 10+ years of marketing experience.
