Beyond Boundaries: A Celebratory Opening Night at the Italian Cultural Institute of London

A tribute to the 30-year career of Fabio Pietrantonio.

On Monday, April 7th, the Italian Cultural Institute of London opened its doors to an unforgettable evening celebrating Beyond Boundaries, the first anthological exhibition dedicated to the 30-year artistic career of Italian artist Fabio Pietrantonio. Curated by London Trade Art, this landmark exhibition reflects a lifetime of artistic enquiry into the breaking of limits — be they societal, personal or philosophical.

The evening began with a warm welcome to our guests, who were treated to a drinks and canapé reception before embarking on guided tours of the exhibition. Each room unfolded a new chapter of Pietrantonio’s work, offering insight into his ongoing exploration of human connection, collective values and the invisible lines that both bind and divide us.

A true highlight of the night was the live performance by the artist himself, paired beautifully with a live piano accompaniment. This immersive moment brought the artist’s creative vision to life, bridging the gap between the viewer and the canvas in real time.

The evening also featured a special presentation with remarks from the artist; Francesca Casiraghi, Co-Founder and CEO of London Trade Art; and Francesco Bongarrà, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of London. Their reflections offered deeper insight into the collaboration behind the exhibition and the broader significance of Pietrantonio’s work within the cultural landscape.

Last but not least, this extraordinary event was made possible thanks to the generous support of our partners and sponsors:
The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK, Redhedge Asset Management LLP, Bespoke Family Office, intergroup and Macellaio RC.

We are immensely grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone in Fabio Pietrantonio’s career. For those who couldn’t attend the opening, Beyond Boundaries remains open to the public at the Italian Cultural Institute until May 1st — a must-see for art lovers and curious minds alike.

Below, enjoy a selection of moments captured during the opening night.
