It is hand-numbered from the edition of 150, at the lower left margin. There were also a small number of artist’s proofs aside from the standard edition.
It was printed by Arts Litho, Paris and published by Éditions de la Différence, Paris in 1981.
The paper bears the printer’s blind stamp and a partial Arches watermark in the lower-left corner.

Francis Bacon was born to an English family in Dublin on October 28th, 1909. He was a figurative painter known for his raw imagery, which often focused on the human form.
