This etching in colour is hand-signed in pencil by the artist 'G.Braque' in the lower right margin.
It is also hand-numbered in pencil (edition of 75) in the lower-left margin.
The work was printed and published by Maeght Éditeur in a limited edition of 75 signed and numbered impressions in 1961.
The paper bears the BFK Rives watermark in the lower right corner.

Georges Braque was born in France on May 13th, 1882. He is one of the most renowned painters, collagists, printmakers and sculptors of the twentieth century. He is mostly known for his alliance with Fauvism from 1905 and the important role he played in the development of Cubism alongside Pablo Picasso. He died on the 31st of August, 1963.
