This original woodcut is hand-signed by the artist in pencil "Chr Rohlfs" in the lower right margin. It is a unique hand-printed impression with monotype inking. It is one of the very few impressions printed of this motive. The edition was never published.
Note: There is an impression of this subject with variant inking held at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and another in the Osthaus Museum, Hagen (previously in Folgwang Museum). The wove paper has been tipped to Japan paper by the artist.
